In addition to the General Terms, the following terms and conditions apply to the SSL Certificate services provided by Web3k.
Supply of SSL Certificates
- Supply of SSL Certificates
- Web3k resells SSL Certificates from various third-party vendors, who each have their own terms of service and agreements for their respective products. You accept that by purchasing an SSL Certificate with Web3k, you are also bound to the terms and agreements set forth by the SSL Certificate vendor for Your chosen SSL Certificate. These third-party vendor agreements can be found on the respective vendors websites;

- Comodo: www.comodo.com
- A third party SSL Certificate vendor may refuse Your SSL Certificate request. The third-party’s decision is final and Web3k has no ability to override this decision. Web3k will relay, where possible, the reason for refusal.
- SSL Certificates & Security
- An SSL Certificate, when installed correctly and in working order, encrypts the data sent between Your website or application and a visitor to Your website that uses the secure method of communicating with a web server, otherwise known as HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). If a customer chooses to use the unsecure access method, otherwise known as HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP), the connection and data transferred between Your website and Your websites visitor will NOT be encrypted and secure.
- It is Your responsibility to ensure your SSL Certificate is configured in a way that works as you intend, within the scope of the SSL Certificate’s ability.
- Termination
- Web3k reserves the right at its sole discretion to revoke your SSL Certificate at any time without notice if you breach these terms.
- The third-party vendor from where Your SSL Certificate is supplied may terminate, or may request Web3k to terminate your SSL Certificate if you breach the third-party’s terms or agreements, at any time without notice.
- Renewal
- SSL Certificates do not automatically renew upon reaching its expiry date. It is Your responsibility to ensure that you renew your SSL Certificate if you seek its continued use.
- Web3k will use best efforts to send You renewal notices in the lead up to your SSL Certificate expiring however, you should maintain your own records and expiry date reminders.
- Refunds
- Web3k do not offer refunds for SSL Certificates for any reason. Should you require assistance with purchasing an SSL Certificate, please contact Web3k prior to ordering.
- Customer
- You accept that the information required and provided to Web3k in order to provision an SSL Certificate is correct, valid and meets the criteria set forth by the issuing third-party vendor.
- Web3k accepts no responsibility where an order is delayed, or not provisioned within a timely fashion due to incorrect, invalid or incomplete details being provided by You.
