In addition to the General Terms, the following terms and conditions apply to the Web Hosting services provided by Web3k.
- Shared Web Hosting
- You agree that the Shared Web Hosting Service is sold as is.
- Installation of software on Your Shared Web Hosting Service is Your responsibility. Web3k may, at its sole discretion assist you with the installation of software on your Shared Web Hosting Service, however maintenance, including but not limited to upgrades, updates, or configuration is not included in the Shared Web Hosting Service or fees.
- Requests to perform maintenance outside of these boundaries will be charged to You at Web3k’s standard hourly rate or part there-of.
- Refunds will not be provided to You where You cancel your Shared Web Hosting service due to a conflict in requirements, software versions or any other reason. It is Your responsibility, to know and understand the requirements and consult with Web3k prior to purchase.
- You are responsible for maintaining your Shared Web Hosting Service(s), including any software, scripts or data contained within your Service. You may elect to purchase a Website Management Service(s) from Web3k.

WordPress Web Hosting
- The WordPress Web Hosting Service is provided as is.
- The WordPress web hosting Service comes with the WordPress software installed and configured ready for You to customise.
- Customisation includes adding your own themes, plug-ins, widgets and other features available to the WordPress software.
- You warrant that Web3k are not liable or responsible for the WordPress software or any themes, plugins and custom code supplied by third parties that integrate with the WordPress software, including any issues that arise from misuse or from being compromised by a third-party.
- You may install third party supplied themes, plugins and custom code on your WordPress Web Hosting Service; however you acknowledge that Web3k are not responsible or liable if third-party themes, plugins and custom code are not compatible with You WordPress Web Hosting Service.
- Web3k will maintain the base WordPress software on your WordPress Web Hosting Service, limited to providing a base installation at the time of purchase and core software upgrades for the term of your Service. Web3k will not maintain, update or upgrade non-WordPress core software including but not limited to themes, plugins and custom code.
- Requests to perform maintenance outside of these boundaries will be charged to You at Web3k’s standard hourly rate or part there-of.
- Reseller Web Hosting
- The Reseller Web Hosting Service is provided as is.
- Installation of software on Your Reseller Web Hosting Web Hosting Service is Your responsibility. Web3k may, at its sole discretion assist you with the installation of software on your Reseller Web Hosting Web Hosting Service, however maintenance, including but not limited to upgrades, updates, or configuration is not included in the Reseller Web Hosting Web Hosting Service or fees.
- Requests to perform maintenance outside of these boundaries will be charged to You at Web3k’s standard hourly rate or part there-of.
- Refunds will not be provided to You where You cancel your Reseller Web Hosting Web Hosting service due to a conflict in requirements, software versions or any other reason. It is Your responsibility, to know and understand the requirements and consult with Web3k prior to purchase.
- You are responsible for maintaining your Reseller Web Hosting Web Hosting Service(s), including any software, scripts or data contained within your Service.
- Web3k will maintain all software, scripts and data common across all customers, including the up-keep of control panels. This does not include software, scripts and data specific to a Customer Account or Service(s).
- Web3k does not provide support to Your End Customer. It is Your responsibility to service, bill and maintain Your End Customer attached to and provisioned under your Reseller Web Hosting Service
- Additional Services for Web Hosting
- Web3k makes available to You Additional Services for Your Shared Web Hosting, WordPress Web Hosting and Reseller Web Hosting Service(s), known as from here-on as “Web Hosting Service(s)” collectively.
- These Additional Services for your Web Hosting Service(s) are provided to You to make your Web3k experience easier and feature rich. In most cases, Additional Services are provided to you using third-party software or services and Web3k cannot be held liable or responsible in the event of data loss through the use of such third-party services.
- In addition, You agree that the Additional Services are provided as is and You agree to the licences and terms of the respective software and services provided by third-parties.
- Website Transfers
- Web3k offers a website transfer service, where by it will transfer the data from your current provider to Web3k.
- You agree you will allow up to seventy-two (72) hours from the time of your website transfer request to be completed by Web3k.
- The website transfer service is free of charge for up to 10 websites. Additional fees of AUD$10.00 Inclusive of GST per website.
- Resources
- You are allocated a set of resources for your Web Hosting Service(s), most notably Storage, Bandwidth, CPU and Disk Input/Output (I/O) resources.
- You acknowledge that the Storage and Bandwidth resource allowance are a fixed allocation according to your Web Hosting Service(s) and exceeding these resource allowances will result in the suspension of your Web Hosting Service(s).
- In the event Your Web Hosting Service(s) is suspended for exceeding Storage or Bandwidth resource allowances, Your Customer Account will be re-instated on its next Billing Anniversary when the Storage or Bandwidth resource allowances are re-set or in the event You upgrade Your Web Hosting Service(s) offering larger Storage or Bandwidth resource allowances.
- CPU and Disk Input/Output (I/O) resource allowances are provided on a ‘fair-share’ basis, meaning that You can use the combined resources of the server for Your Web Hosting Service(s) and the use of these resources by You should not affect other Web3k customers.
- In the event that CPU and Disk Input/Output (I/O) resources are abused by You and negatively affects other Web3k customers, Your Web Hosting Service(s) will be suspended and You will be asked to rectify the issue.
- Subsequent Web Hosting Service(s) suspensions for CPU and Disk Input/Output (I/O) resource abuse will, at the sole discretion of Web3k, result in your Web Hosting Service(s) service being terminated without refund.
- For avoidance of doubt, Web3k does not offer the ability for additional resources to be purchased on an over-usage basis for Web Hosting Service(s). Web Hosting Service(s) can be upgraded to the next level, which may include more resources.
- Location
- Web3k provides Your Web Hosting Service(s) on servers in various locations around the world. If You do not explicitly select a location or region preference when placing a Web Hosting Services(s) order, Web3k reserve the right to provide Your Web Hosting Service(s) at any of its locations
- Web3k reserves the right to relocate or move Your Web Hosting Service(s) from one Server to another Server, which may be in a different geography, region of country, at any time for any reason. If possible, a noticed period will be provided.
- If and when new locations become available for Web Hosting Service(s), You may make a request to Web3k to have your Web Hosting Service(s) transferred to that location.
