100 Million .COM Domain Registration Mark passed
Domain tracking website, Registrar Stats, reported at the end of January that .com domain registrations had surpassed the 100 Million mark, making it by far the popular domain extension. Its nearest rival, .net at 14 million domain registrations is sufficiently dwarfed, showing the preference for .com domain’s and making it the default in domain names across the globe.
